Our Houses

We created our house system as a purpose to instill a sense of pride in being a Shaheenian. Our house system is the foundation upon which we have created an environment of excitement, engagement, belonging and a collaborative spirit that is like no other.

As we created our houses, we looked at the traits that makes Shaheen so majestic and soar high in the skies. Our house system is based on those 4 traits that we want to instill in our Shaheenians.

Students, teachers and staff, all belong to a house, which drives the sense of ownership. Houses are a part of our everyday lives at Shaheen because we believe a common purpose creates a common passion and a common passion lead to big achievements and a sense of accomplishment. Our ultimate goal is to encourage our students to be the best not only in school but also be proactively involved in improving our society and making the world a better place for everyone.

House Courage

Color: Red

Motto: “To be bold and brave.”

Courage enables the student to have the determination to accomplish anything they set their mind to and have a competitive spirit and never give up without trying. Courage makes the students do what is right and not give in to fear. Red colour symbolizes bravery, sacrifice and honour.

House Excellence

Color: Blue

Motto: “To be outstanding.”

Excellence provides the ability for a student to stand out under any circumstances. Excellence will make them committed to their goals and continuously improve on the quality and standard of their lives. Blue colour symbolizes intelligence, trust and calmness.

House Vision

Color: Yellow

Motto: “To be insightful.”

Vision gives students the ability to think and plan their future using their imagination and creativity. It gives them the power to dream big. Yellow colour symbolizes shine, perseverance and faith.

House Wisdom

Color: Green

Motto: “To be practical and sensible.”

Wisdom provides the student the ability to gain the experience and knowledge necessary to be successful in their lives and use good judgment in all that they attempt. Green colour represents life and fertility. It also represents growth and harmony.
